David’s favorite hobbies included playing his fiddle and guitar, woodworking, and tractor work & restoration. He also worked as a tax preparer for nearly 40 years. David farmed in Bakersfield for 20 years, milking cows for 10 of them and offering tractor work for the remainder. David married Janice Allen on January 27, 1962. While at UVM he became a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. David graduated from Essex High School in 1958 and went on to graduate from the University of Vermont in 1962.
