There are a number of different building with signage that state they can be visited on the tour, but it depends on which guide you get I guess. Red Geranium Restaurant, New Harmony, Indiana.
NEW HARMONY FULL
2, Thrall’s Opera House, a small gallery exhibit of Native American prints from the Maximilian-Bodmer expedition (clearly a darling for the tour guide but the only connection to New Harmony was the exploring party stayed there en route west and back), and the Granary. New Harmony is full of life, offering all sorts of activities from one of a kind eateries, specialty shops, antiques, festivals, art, nature and history. Our tour visited the Lenz House (a relocated Harmonists house), Double Log Cabin, Community House No. We were grateful for the opportunity to see inside buildings that are otherwise closed to the public. When anyone would ask or point out a contradiction to something she shared, her response was “I think both can be true.” She shared that she started working at the Atheneum after finishing homeschooling her son at 17. It clearly seemed to be her interpretation of history. Our guide made it very clear that tour guides get to decide where to take you. That was the only exhibit included on the tour so I’m not sure what else there is to see in the building. A historic town on the Wabash River in Posey County, Indiana, New Harmony was founded by the Harmony Society in 1814. Discover the vessels particulars, including capacity, machinery, photos and ownership.
NEW HARMONY MOVIE
After watching the 11 minute movie on New Harmony (which seemed more designed as a visitor center promotion rather than a mini historical documentary) we stopped at a model of the town. Vessel NEW HARMONY is a Oil/Chemical Tanker, Registered in Korea. We were told the tour started w the building and exhibits, so we didn’t spend any time looking around the building before the tour. After purchasing our tickets, we walked the paths around the building, along the river, and wound over to the Roofless Church.

We were glad we stopped by the Atheneum an hour prior to the daily 1 pm tour.
