I'm holding out on the 5 stars because I believe there should be a disclaimer about the size of this thing and the benches are not cushioned for my sitting pleasure.Plaza Las Américas Inc. I'm giving it 4 stars due to the pleasure my wife experienced and the abundance of benches outside the myriad of stores.
It is an awesome facility and Im sure all the women out there will be very happy with it. My knees begain to buckle as my wife giggled with glee. This mall is a monster with all the latest stores you can find in America. The 10 minute drive wrapped us around some downtown roads finally yielding to one of the largest building complexes I have ever seen.

Being on a tropical carribean island filled with history, when she told the cab driver "we wanted to shop" and he replied "mall?".I assumed an open flea market type experience where you can bargain for shirts and other useless stuff. We arrived at noon and had until 7pm to check things out. My wife and I flew into San Juan to catch a cruise from there. If you are hungry, there are loads of budget friendly restaurants like Sizzler’s, Macaroni and Grill, Chili’s, and a large food court on the third floor.Ībove the Grand Court, by the JC Penney entrance, there’s another 3rd floor section with a Farmer’s Market, a local Artisan Fair that happens here every weekend and a bookshop. They also hqve designers stores (Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors). There are many other stores, most of which you will find in any mall in the mainland US (like Gap, Banana Republic, Forever 21) There is a movie theater (in PR some movies are in Spanish and other are in English with Spanish subtitles). There are about 300 stores, including the anchor stores of JC Penney, Macy’s, and Sears. People come from other Caribbean islands just to shop here! The mall is located in the Hato Rey zone of San Juan. If you are into shopping, or if the weather is not that good, Plaza Las Americas will supply everyone in your family with lots of fun.
